
Many of you know Kaillie (KB) and Alexis and we're excited to have them directing SGL as well as with new comer Maesa. KB is the L-S head coach and will be working directly with grades 1&2 and the 5/6 & 7/8 Select League teams. Alexis will handle all of the administrative duties, when it comes to scheduling, registration, uniforms, as well as the grade level coordinators. Maesa is new to SGL this year, she will be handling all aspects of coaching for grades 3-8 SGL commits significant resources for this coaching and we're excited to see the results on the field.
ABOUT KAILLIE
Kaillie coaches L-S, but there's a lot more. She's a 2x All-American player and national champion at Hamilton College and holds program records in goals, assists and points. KB founded the Central Lacrosse Club, is a former college coach and Canadian National team member, and has a Masters Degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She's got limitless energy and loves to train lacrosse players of all ages.
ABOUT ALEXIS
Alexis played at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA and went on to star at Division 3 Elmira College. Her first coaching gig was as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Merrimack College from 2004-2007. In 2008 she was the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Austin Prep. Then in 2009, Alexis became the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA for nine years. And along the way she worked camps at the University of Virginia, Washington & Lee College, and several other schools. Alexis is also a head coach for Central Lacrosse.
ABOUT MAESA
Maesa played at Leominster High School and went on to play NAIA field hockey at Houghton College. In 2013, lacrosse was added as Houghton switched to NCAA D3 and she captained her two seasons there. Her first lacrosse coaching gig was at Lunenburg High School from 2015-16. In 2017, Maesa joined the coaching staff at The Bromfield School in Harvard, MA coaching middle school/town classic, and assisting with JV and Varsity. In 2021 she took on the role of JV coach and then in 2022 she became the Head Varsity coach at The Bromfield School. In her spare time Maesa strings girls lacrosse sticks for all ages. Maesa is also a coach for Central Lacrosse.
